Say hello to one of my students, Christopher Weir. Chris is currently a sophomore at West Canada Valley High School in Newport, NY. He’s been studying with me since 2015 and has blossomed into not only a wonderful musician, but a self proclaimed “comedy genius.”
Chris and I have been busy preparing his chosen song for the recital entitled “Inner Demons” by Julia Brennan. Here’s a direct quote from Chris regarding what music means to him.
“I have enjoyed music as an outlet my entire life. Whether it be listening or playing along, music has always healed me spiritually. Studying with Corey has been both an amazing and enriching experience. I look forward to many more years jamming with Corey.”
