I couldn’t agree more with this statement from Tommy Igoe. I try my best to filter things down to the essentials and make material as clear and as easy to understand as possible, given my small brain and overall dislike of complexity in music.
The funny thing is that the more you understand how simple things can be, the harder they are. Weird right?
